550 pounds of ZOOT is on the way to our depot!
19 BIG HEAVY CARTONS!
As you Zootles know, ZOOT! went to print in mid-March after our successful Kickstarter campaign. Print turnaround had at that point been estimated at 30 days, and delivery from the printer to our depot another 60 days. So we'd hoped to begin shipping earliest late May.
I've had queries from a few Zootles since then asking why there has been a delay in the delivery of their orders - so it sounds like this timeline wasn't entirely clear. For this reason I have upgraded shipping to the depot from Freight to Air. This costs substantially more, and removes any dreams I may have had of breaking even on this project - but it feels like the right thing to do. With recent Covid shut-downs, Freight wasn't going to get the boxes to our depot until mid-June. Unacceptable. We're all in this together, and I want ZOOT! in my hot little hands as much as you do.
And maybe between us we can get a box of ZOOT! into the hands of somebody who wants to order more. Like hundreds more. Thousands? You never know! Toys-R-Us I'm looking at YOU. If you happen to know a decision-maker of this sort, just send me their contact information and I will send them a gift-wrapped box ZOOT SUITE! (see what I did there?)
Meanwhile, I checked with the printer this morning, and we have a tracking number. It sounds like all 19 cartons should arrive here in Dundas by the end of April. If it all comes together, we intend to begin local deliveries on April 30th. International and long distance deliveries will go out via Canada Post on May 2nd.
Thank-you again, Zootles, for your faith in me and in this project. You're going to love this game as much as I do, I just know it.

Joan, you should not have had to go to that extra cost! We Zootles know that it is worth waiting for!
I want it just as much as the next guy! Totally worth it 🙂
I just received my package! Thanks so much for all the effort you’ve put into getting these ready to go!
Woohoo! I think nearly all the orders have now been filled.. what an adventure!
