We had a question from Zootle Lloyd yesterday :
"The game rules state 2 – 4 players. Would it change the game if more then 4 people played? Or is the number of players capped at 4 simply because there would not be enough cards to go around and have a good game? If the number of cards are the reason for maxing the number of players at 4, then would 2 decks (or game sets) allow for up to 8 people to play in a single game, or would that not allow the game to operate as intended?"
I thought this was a great question - here's what I answered, but let me know if you guys have other thoughts! :
We had six people around the table the other night, so we chose to play FOOT! instead (five card zoot) .. FOOT! rounds move more quickly, so you don't need to wait forever for your turn. (you can also play with a timer to keep people moving but that can get stressful!) .. and yes, also down to the number of cards. More than four players with a single deck means fewer rounds, which means people don't have a chance to catch up if they get absolutely crap cards their first round. That said, you can also agree before play begins to cycle through the deck twice - shuffling or not at deck turnover, your call. This way you don't need two decks 🙂

Bought 2 games after the article in the Spec, gave one to my niece for her anniversary but didn’t have a chance to play until my recent camping trip with 3 of my adult children who always love word games like boggle and scrabble, upwards etc
We love it.
One thing I notice is Zamboni was not in it but Kleenex was and I’m curious about that.
Cheryl! What the heck is Kleenex doing in there!? It is a proper noun and should definitely not be there! I’ve removed it from the online version, and it will not appear in the next release of the dictionary. THANK-YOU FOR YOUR EAGLE EYES! ~ Joan
