STRATEGIES
If you think your opponent has great cards
Get rid of your difficult cards and go out FAST. At least you'll get your extra 10 points, and your opponent may not have time to get all the letters they need to complete their great word.
try not to get stuck on a single word
If at all possible, make sure you're trying for at least two or three words simultaneously. By keeping your options open, you'll be better able to roll with the relatively low number of (for instance) U's.
some great letter combinations
These frequently occurring letter combinations will make word-building much easier (meaning if you happen to have an I and a G for instance, it's often worth it to hold out for an N.)
